With all the work going on over at the other house, you could be forgiven for thinking I had forgotten I have a home and garden of my own!
So the other day, when the fog finally cleared enough to see beyond the garden wall, I looked out of the bedroom window and was met with a carpet of leaves all over the lawn:
Well, I couldn't just ignore it, could I? So I went outside and took a few photos of the fallen leaves - beech:

I do love having trees, and the spectacular colours they turn in the autumn, but they can make a lot of work clearing them up!! The lawns are all covered, and so is the driveway - oak leaves here:
